How does the RVA Board determine the order in which the roads are repaired?
Three factors are used to determine the order in which roads are repaired;
1- Road Function, 2- Structure Impact, 3- Road length

When will my road be fixed?
Road repairs (pot holes, thaw damage) are made through out the year as needed.
Call 304-724-1056 x308 to report road repair needs.

What about a new road surface?
Road surface gravel is usually applied after the Annual Membership Meeting in late spring (May, June).
On average one road is repaired each year on a rotational basis, based on available funds.

Can I repair my own road?
Lot owners are encouraged to discuss road repair plans with the RVA Board BEFORE starting work.
Contact the RVA Road Manager at Roads@rvp-wv.org
Damage to RVA roads will be billed to lot owner authorizing repair work.

Can I have gravel delivered and spread on my road?
Yes - Lot owners are encouraged to discuss road repair plans with the RVA Board BEFORE starting work.
Please note the following:
Roads are common property, owned and maintained by River View Association Inc.
Annual per-lot fees are due on time regardless of any lot owner expenditure or reimbursement.
Reimbursement for material and labor will be considered with PRIOR approval of the RVA Board.
Reimbursement for material and labor in excess of RVA service level agreements will NOT be paid.

What happens to my Neighbors if I have gravel spread in front of my lot(s)?
Roads are common property, owned and maintained by River View Association Inc.
The RVA board directive is to maintain the roads for the benefit of all Lot Owners.
Overall benefit to the structures on a street is one criteria reviewed during the Pre-Approval request.
